The dynamic and disciplined VADCO/Valerie Alpert Dance Company graces the Mainstage Theatre of the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts on the College of Lake County’s Grayslake Campus on Friday, Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m. This ensemble – led by artistic director and College of Lake County dance faculty member, Valerie Alpert – performs provocative dance driven by reflections of life and various cultures, while exploring the physical, emotional and psychological essence of the
human condition. With innovative choreography and a spirit of collaboration, this acclaimed dance company engages communities through exhilarating performances.
Single Tickets: $20 for adults; $19 for seniors, CLC staff and alumni; $15 for students and teens; and $10 for children. Prices do not include an additional $2 per ticket facility fee.

Subscriptions for the JLC’s Professional Series are still available, ranging from $16 to $34, with two price levels available for most events. When purchased with an adult subscription, subscriptions for teens ages 12-17 are available at a discount. CLC student subscriptions are also available. The deadline to purchase Professional Event Subscriptions (three or more events) is Sept. 30, 2019. Subscribers can also purchase additional tickets throughout the 2019-2020 season at the low subscriber rate, in addition to getting the best seats available. Subscribers also receive personalized assistance creating their subscription, handling and exchange fees waived and ticket exchanges up to 24 hours prior to the event during regular Box Office hours.
Single tickets and subscriptions can be purchased at the JLC Box Office on the Grayslake Campus, Room P112, 19351 W. Washington St, and is open Monday-Friday, noon-5 p.m. Patrons can also call (847) 543-2300 (option 5). A dedicated subscriber line is available at (847) 986-1800.
