Read in the Daily Herald how Emilie Lynn, a College of Lake County student from 2003-05, overcame childhood shyness and developed a passion for singing and acting. This holiday season, she’s in the lead role in “Mary Poppins” at the Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook Terrace.
Lynn also has appeared in "Les Miserables" and "Sound of Music" at Drury Lane, and in "Miss Saigon" and "Hair" at the Paramount Theatre in Aurora. From 2012 to 2016, she intermittently played Christine, the leading role in "The Phantom of the Opera," traveling around the world.
