Community members are invited to attend College of Lake County’s (CLC) virtual open house event starting Saturday, April 24 through April 30. Discover over 170 degrees and certificates offered in CLC’s nine fields of interest, all at your leisure from the comfort of your home. Settle in with a computer, tablet or mobile device and engage with CLC in our virtual exhibition hall. It’s packed with booths featuring information, on-demand videos and webinars about our academic, certificate and career programs. Attendees will also be entered to win an exclusive scholarship to CLC.
“This is a great opportunity if you’re interested in taking classes at CLC, but don’t know where to start,” said Assistant Director of Outreach and On-Campus Experiences Jason Sarna. “The college recently organized it’s academic departments into fields of interest so it’s easier for you to picture yourself at the finish line, ready to take the next step into a job or transfer degree.”
Attendees can learn about CLC’s new online options, dual credit programs, non-credit credentials, academic and student support services, financing your education and scholarships, as well as student life opportunities. Faculty, staff and students will be available to chat live, answering questions and providing advice about how to start your chapter at CLC.
