College of Lake County (CLC) is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Willow Review at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 20 in room A013 at the Grayslake Campus. The event is free and open to the public.
Contributors to CLC’s award-winning literary magazine, Willow Review, will read from their original poetry and prose. It features award-winning past and current editors Paulette Roeske Reid, Larry Starzec and Michael F. Latza.
Copies of the 50th issue will be available during the event.
Reviewer D.E. Steward of Literary Magazine Review gave high praise to the CLC publication, saying “Willow Review is altogether a singular magazine, unlike any literary magazine in the reviewer’s experience.”
