Thanks to personalized success planning and advising with a College and Career Navigator, students get started quickly earn credit hours to progress through their program and graduate faster. After all, starting college if just the beginning - finishing is the goal!

Students may choose from more than 170 degrees and certifications in the college's nine fields of interest.

Community College tuition is a fraction of the cost for the same quality education that prepares students for a successful career. CLC is more affordable than four-year colleges and universities, and many students of all ages are also eligible for financial aid and scholarships.

Combing two years at CLC with two years at a four-year college or university is a smart way to earn a bachelor's degree. The first and second years of bachelor's degree programs are largely focused on general education requirements. Based on the strength of our academic programs, we have agreements with many transfer partner schools guaranteeing admission for all CLC students who meet specific criteria. CLC's general education courses meet requirements at most institutions, allowing college credits to easily transfer - for a third of the price.

We serve students by offering personalized culturally relevant experiences.

There is a wealth of resources available to all students providing everything from technology needs and printing services to free tutoring and interview coaching. Every student has a personal Academic Success Advisor to guide them from the first day of class through graduation. All new students also complete a college success course focused on academic success strategies, college culture and a growth mindset.

Students can find plenty of opportunities outside the classroom with numerous options for activities and clubs for everyone's interests. CLC also offers cultural enrichment for the entire community with events such as live plays, music, dance, art and films.

As an open access institution, CLC creates valuable experiences that provide clear paths for student success. Our degree and stackable certificate programs help students pursue a personalized path to achieve their goal. CLC offers short- and long-term certificate programs and associate degrees for careers in high demand. The Career and Job Placement Center at CLC helps students find jobs, even while they are taking classes.
