CLC Study Abroad Scholarships

CLC has study abroad scholarships that it makes available each year to students participating in CLC run programs. These scholarships offer up to 50% of the total cost of semester study abroad program and provide funding for those students who may not otherwise be able to afford to participate in a study abroad program.

Eligible Programs

Scholarships are available for any CLC faculty-led short-term program and the China semester abroad program. CLC Study Abroad Scholarships are not available at this time for other ICISP programs.

How to Apply

To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must have already applied and been accepted to the study abroad program.

Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for a CLC Study Abroad Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application
  • Have completed at least 6-12 credits at the College of Lake County
  • Have a minimum cumulative college GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
  • Have not previously received a CLC study abroad scholarship
  • Submit a complete scholarship application (constitutes of general application and additional questions). Only complete application will be considered.

Preference will be given to applicants who are currently enrolled full time at the College of Lake County.

Each study abroad program may have different priority scholarship deadline.
