Recruitment and Enrollment Activities

As the College of Lake County (CLC) strives toward meeting its enrollment goals, it will comply with local, state and federal laws applicable to outreach, recruitment and admission practices. The college will keep the educational interests of all prospective students at the forefront of admissions and recruitment practices. As such, CLC will provide accurate information to assist all prospective students in making informed application and enrollment decisions. This includes information about college admissions, costs and other information that will allow students to determine whether a college is a “good fit” for them. Learn more

Using Benefits at CLC

You must apply for all benefits. Depending on the benefit, some require you to apply only once (VA Federal); others may need to be applied for yearly (State), and Department of Defense must be applied for each semester.

Various government regulations require our office to follow STRICT guidelines. To ensure your educational benefits are processed in a timely manner, please submit your “Veterans Request for Certification” (R4C) immediately after enrolling.

The R4C is located in your “myStudentCenter” in the second row, “Finances” to the left of your bill.

THIS MUST BE DONE EVERY SEMESTER.
