Personal Care Aide

As the population of senior citizens in the U.S. grows, the demand for personal care aides continues to increase. To save money and retain independence, more U.S. seniors are opting to remain at home as they age. There is an increasing need for home service workers to assist with the tasks and chores of everyday living.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that employment for home health and personal care aides (home service workers) will increase by 41% with the addition of 1.3 million new jobs by 2026.

Professional Development is offering the perfect opportunity to gain the basic skills needed to begin a new career or to confidently provide companionship or care for an elderly or disabled family member or friend.
