High Quality Courses
Legal Studies courses have been developed with the assistance of attorneys, paralegals, and paralegal educators. CLC's Legal Studies Program has been approved by the American Bar Association (ABA), making it Lake County's only ABA-approved paralegal program.
Knowledgeable & Experienced Faculty
Legal Studies classes are taught by faculty who have Juris Doctor degrees and work experience as paralegals or as supervisors of paralegals.
Opportunity to Obtain Real-World Experience
The Legal Studies curriculum includes the opportunity for an internship that enables students to apply their classroom learning to the legal environment. We also provide each student with real-world experience before they graduate through our Capstone Field Work requirement.
