Lancer Emergency Assistance Fund (LEAF)

CLC ensures sustainable access to emergency resources for students like you.

The Lancer Emergency Assistance Fund (LEAF) will aid students in the best way possible at their time of need. This emergency assistance is a program of care and compassion, free of judgment, for the community of Lancer students.

If you're a current CLC student and you have an emergency funding need, access resources through the online LEAF application and submit any required documentation. You will receive a decision within 1-5 business days, depending on the urgency of your request.

Through CLC Foundation donations, institutional dollars and federal financial aid grants, LEAF serves many different purposes such as:

  • Assistance to fix a flat tire, or buy gas to go to class.
  • Meal cards to buy groceries to stay healthy and fight food insecurity.
  • Payment for gas bill to keep your home warm for the winter as you take classes online.

For assistance with current or upcoming tuition costs or other bills owed to the college, contact a Financial Aid Specialist to explore available financial aid options.

Additionally, United Way of Lake County’s 211 service is a free, confidential, 24-hour information and referral helpline connecting individuals and families in need with access to available health and human services. Lake County residents can connect to a wide range of services by phone or text, and an expert navigator will guide them to the help they need, regardless of the time of day, the language they speak, or where they live.

Support the CLC Foundation

If you would like to offer financial support to help CLC students in need, please consider making a donation to the CLC Foundation. Support to CLC students can only be sustained by continual contributions from the CLC community, for which we are greatly thankful.
