Hours of Operation

Fall Hours
Monday - Friday
10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

CLC students are welcome to come down to SHARE Market and take whatever they may need, we just ask students bring their own reusable tote bag. If a student would like to or needs to visit the SHARE Market during non-hours of operation, please email to set up an appointment.

Updates on SHARE Market and Our New Space

SHARE Market is now at A012! Pick up orders will continue in our new space. The SHARE Market will continue to table in the Commons during the fall semester at the Grayslake campus, tabling hours are Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Mini Snack Shack with food itemsWe are also working to establish mini snack shacks around the Grayslake campus, in areas of high student traffic, be on the lookout for those!

Lastly, we are also expanding our SHARE Market to Athletics and Lake Shore Campus, more details to come soon!

Mission Statement

The SHARE Market is committed to providing food, resources related to food insecurity and some basic needs items to CLC students as a way to aid in student success.

Vision Statement

The SHARE Market envisions a space and energy centered around CLC’s values, especially compassion and inclusion as it focuses on student needs, experience and accessibility. Our goal is to destigmatize thoughts around food insecurity by creating relevant programming and building partnerships with stakeholders and our community.


Donation needs will vary, please email the SHARE Market email for an up-to-date list of needed donations as that is updated regularly. A list of some common needed items is below. Donations can be dropped off at SHARE Market door during hours of operation. Please note that the SHARE Market does not accept items that are expired or within a week of expiration.

  • Toothpaste
  • Deodorant
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Toilet paper
  • Paper towels
  • Disinfecting wipes
  • Bar or Body wash -unscented preferred
  • Laundry Pods – unscented preferred
  • Diapers -various sizes
  • Baby wipes – unscented preferred
  • Microwavable paper bowls for soup

Note: We will not sign off on extra credit for students who donate items not listed above. Students are encouraged to check our webpage for donations we are accepting or email the SHARE Market to verify what donations we are accepting before donating items.

Lancer Emergency Assistance Fund (LEAF) aids students in the best way possible at your time of need. Can’t afford to fix your flat tire, buy groceries or pay your gas bill? CLC will grant you cash funds so you can keep learning.
