Title IX & Compliance Coordinator
College of Lake County’s Title IX & Compliance Coordinator oversees compliance with all aspects of the College’s Sex-Based Misconduct Policy and Procedures. Anyone (including third parties) wishing to make a report relating to sex-based discrimination or harassment, including sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking, may do so by reporting the concern to the Title IX & Compliance Coordinator:

All Responsible Employees are obligated to report incidents of sex-based misconduct directly to the Title IX & Compliance Coordinator upon notice of the incident.
Responsibilities of the Title IX & Compliance Coordinator
Responsibilities of the Title IX Coordinator(s) include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the College’s response to all Title IX reports and complaints and identifying and addressing any patterns or systemic problems revealed by such reports or complaints.
- Conducting and/or assigning Title IX investigations, including the investigation of facts relative to a complaint.
- Coordinating any appropriate supportive measures and ensuring the effective implementation of any remedies.
- Ensuring that adequate training is provided to students, faculty and staff on Title IX issues.
- Monitoring students’ participation in athletics and across academic fields to ensure that sex discrimination is not causing any disproportionate enrollment based on sex or otherwise negatively affecting a student’s access to equal educational opportunities.
- Promoting an educational and employment environment which is free of sex discrimination and gender bias.
- Partnering with the Deputy Title IX Coordinator of Students regarding reports and investigations that involve students.
- Partnering with the Deputy Title IX Coordinator in Human Resources regarding reports and investigations that involve an employee.
