For your convenience, you may also submit a report through our anonymous CLC Hotline listed below. For the most thorough investigation, it is always recommended to provide as much information as possible or contact CLC's Title IX & Compliance Coordinator directly.
Meet with a Responsible Employee (RE)
A responsible employee is obligated to report to the Title IX and Compliance Coordinator or Deputy Title IX Coordinator information about an incident that the student or another person has shared, so the College can determine what occurred and work to resolve the situation. This includes the names of those involved in the incident being reported, as well as relevant facts, including the date, time, and location. In order to help stop the misconduct and prevent re-occurrence, information is kept private but not confidential. Responsible employees include but are not limited to the following employee groups:
For Child Abuse and Neglect, Meet with Mandated Reporters (under the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act)
All CLC employees are required to call the IL Dept. of Children and Family Services (DCFS) Hotline at 1-800-25-ABUSE (1-800-252-2873) when they have reasonable cause to believe that a child (anyone under the age of 18) known to them in their professional or official capacity may be an abused or neglected child. The Hotline worker will determine if the information given by the reporter meets the legal requirements to initiate an investigation.
