Access and Disability Resource Center (ADRC)

The Access and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) provides an educationally accessible college environment that ensures an individual receives an equal opportunity to obtain college services, programs and courses regardless of their disability. Canvas

CLC uses a Learning Management System (LMS) called Canvas to deliver your course content online:

  • Faculty can upload course materials for their students on Canvas and conduct a variety of classroom activities.
  • Students can retrieve and submit assignments, participate in discussion groups, take tests and check grades.
  • Your course content is typically available in Canvas the day before the class begins.

CLC Scholars & Honors Program

CLC Scholars is a program with a rigorous, demanding curriculum designed for students who may potentially pursue graduate work. The Honors Program is an opportunity for high-achieving students to enrich their academic and community experience and pave the way to future academic success.

Library

The CLC Libraries are open to check out books, technology, and academic resources and use study space. Study rooms are not open at this time. Check library hours.

Online Success Workshops

You can access a free online service, StudentLingo, for interactive on-demand success workshops. Topics include time management, test anxiety, test taking and motivation.

  1. Go to www.studentlingo.org/clcillinois.
  2. Create an account using your CLC e-mail. Remember your account information so you can log in at any time.
  3. You will be taken to your student dashboard and can access the workshops immediately.

Student Records

Student Records supports students with enrollment and graduation so students have equitable access to their education. We guide students through meeting prerequisites and transferring credits, the enrollment process and final steps for graduation.

Study Abroad

CLC offers students semester abroad programs as well as short-term international study tours that contribute to an understanding of the relationships among the cultural, economic and political systems of other nations and our own.

Testing Center

The Testing Center provides student services including testing for placement (proficiencies and prerequisites), make-up exams for courses, testing for online courses, and more.

Tutoring Center

Tutoring services provide you with support to succeed in your classes by improving academic performance, building confidence and enhancing your learning. Tutoring is available in-person, online through Zoom, and through written feedback. Part of your comprehensive fee supports tutoring, so there are no additional charges.

Introducing Navigate: Your virtual success guide

Navigate will help you thrive at CLC, and guide you from orientation to graduation. It’s a free mobile app and desktop tool with helpful information just for you.

Through Navigate you can:

  • Make appointments with your Academic Success Advisor, tutoring and other offices
  • Connect with CLC resources focused on your success
  • Take care of holds and tasks
  • View your class schedule and success team
  • Meet classmates using the Study Buddies tool

  • Downloading the app in the App Store or Google Play and login using your CLC email address and password.
  • Or you can also look for the Navigate link in Student Center.
