CLC welcomes veterans, military servicemembers and their families.

Veteran Student Services (VSS) is committed to providing the most useful and current information available to assist military affiliated students on their educational journey. Whether you are active duty and wanting to use Tuition Assistance for a class or two, or a dependent utilizing benefits, or somewhere in between, we are here to make sure that Every Student Succeeds. We partner with Financial Aid, Academic Advising, Office for Students with Disabilities, Counseling and Psychological Services, Student Activities, and many other offices to provide you with a holistic experience. We are the one-stop shop for our veterans, military students and their families attending or planning to attend CLC. We can assist you with:

  • Applying to college and enrolling in classes
  • Applying for and using federal, DoD and state benefits
  • Transitioning to college and navigating the campus
  • Utilizing CLC’s resources for academic success
  • Connecting with other students through programs and our Veteran’s Lounge
  • Navigating local and federal programs and resources

Our Mission – Veteran Student Services recognizes the dynamic needs and experiences of military affiliated students, and provides programs, resources, and advocacy on their behalf. VSS oversees the careful management of VA Federal and State Educational Benefits, and Tuition Assistance.
