About the Program

Music is a transfer program housed in the Communication Arts, Fine Arts and Humanities division. Transfer programs are for students who plan to continue their education at a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor’s degree. Some students take music courses to fulfill the fine arts requirement for a transfer degree; others take music as part of a plan to major in music. Many students take music courses as electives.

Our program includes vocal and instrumental music. You may also take private lessons in piano, voice, wind instruments, guitar, bass, and percussion. Our faculty are not only dedicated and talented teachers, but are experienced performers in their respective fields. Contact any of our faculty to learn more about their work and your opportunities.
