Located in Vernon Hills, the Southlake Campus delivers core college education classes. It also offers distinct programs for businesses, working adults and people getting ready for careers in wellness and health sciences.

The whole campus leans toward wellness for individuals and communities. From our green roof to custom training for growing businesses, we’re here to help Lake County thrive.

Building hours:

Monday–Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday: CLOSED

Spaces for study, sustainability
Southlake Campus is conveniently located and has a green roof—the first for a Lake County public building. Spaces are modern. Soaring windows draw students to the atrium, a favorite spot to gather.

Center for Health & Wellness Promotion
Practice your skills in clinical settings. With faculty guidance, students studying wellness and health promotion provide affordable services to the community:
- therapeutic massage
- personal training
- health and wellness coaching
- fitness and performance assessments
Modern labs
You'll spend lots of time in new, state-of-the-art science labs if you're studying biological sciences, chemistry or pre-pharmacy. Our simulation labs teach hands-on skills for kinesiology, massage therapy and nurse assisting programs.

We have designated parking areas on campus for use by students, faculty, staff and visitors. CLC parking lots are idle-free zones. Please abide by the parking rules and regulations established by the College of Lake County Police Department.

Where to park

Parking for students and visitors is available in Lot 1. Handicapped spaces and staff parking is available in Lot 2.

All vehicles must be parked on pavement between the yellow parking lines. Parking on roadways, sidewalks or parking lot traffic lanes is not permitted. Students are not allowed to park in the areas designated for faculty, staff and visitors. Faculty and staff must display a parking permit to park in any posted staff parking areas.
Handicap parking is available throughout the campus. Use of a handicap parking space requires the display of a window permit or state issued handicap license plate. Temporary handicap permits are available from the College of Lake County Health Center. Permits issued by the CLC Health Center are only valid on the college campuses.
All drivers must obey CLC regulations as well as all state laws and local regulations. Posted speed limits are strictly enforced. Please reduce your speed for construction, adverse conditions or pedestrians/cyclists in or crossing the roadway. The CLC Police Department is empowered to enforce traffic regulations.
Citations for parking violations may be appealed to the CLC Police Department. The appeal must be filed within five business days from the date the citation is issued or the right to appeal is presumed waived. To appeal a parking citation, obtain and return an appeal form to the CLC Police Department.
