About FOIA

The College of Lake County complies with the terms and provisions of the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 ILCS 140/1. Additional information on the Illinois Freedom of Information Act is available through the website of the Illinois Attorney General's Office.

All requests for access to information under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act should be directed to one of the College's Freedom of Information Officers. The College’s FOIA Officers are: Derrick Harden, Vice President / Chief of Staff and Victoria Siegfried-Wilke, Strategic Projects Coordinator.

Submitting FOIA Requests

In accordance with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, FOIA requests must be submitted in writing. Feel free to use the following FOIA request form (PDF). Requests can be personally delivered, sent by United States Postal Service or e-mailed.
