Powerhouse programs at the ATC

CLC's world-class ATC was created to strengthen Lake County’s manufacturing workforce.

Two programs are currently offered at the ATC: Industrial Technology and Welding and Fabrication Technology. Both programs provide students with the opportunity to gain knowledge from faculty with years of experience on a work-friendly daytime or evening schedule.

“The ATC will house state-of-the-art equipment to support programs designed for accelerated completion of coursework delivered by subject matter expert faculty that is aligned to industry needs.”
— Dr. Lori Suddick, CLC President

“Advanced manufacturing in Lake County is not only an economic driver for the region, but it also offers a rewarding career pathway for many of our students. By offering skills development that meets the needs of Lake County employers, the ATC becomes a critical piece of the economic development ecosystem."
— Kristina Kovarik, Mayor of Gurnee, 2005-2021
