Returning Students

Student ID
As a returning student, you already have a student ID number. (You don't need to submit a new Student Admission Form.)

If you don’t remember your student ID number, reach out to one of our Welcome and One Stop Centers.

Student Record
Your student record remains active if you applied to or attended class at CLC in the last 5 years.

If it’s been more than 5 years since you were a CLC student, contact Registration Services at (847) 543-2061 or admissions@clcillinois.edu. Ask them to activate your record so you can enroll.

Make sure you can log in to the Student Portal using your username and password.

Username
Your username is the first part of your CLC email address before the @. If you do not know your CLC email address, contact the CLC Help Desk at (847) 543-4357.

Password
If you remember your old password, you’re good to go.

If you don’t remember your password or want a new one, reset your password using the self-service password reset option. 

Sit down with your Academic Success Advisor (ASA). Your ASA figures out the courses you need to take to complete your college goals. Your ASA also can help you transfer credits earned at a different college into CLC.
