Support music education at instrument sale

College of Lake County’s (CLC) Music Department has partnered with the Rockley Family Foundation on an instrument sale at a significant discount from manufacturer retail pricing Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 28-30, in the James Lumber Center at CLC’s Grayslake Campus by appointment. In this partnership, the Rockley Family Foundation will provide valuable resources and scholarship money for the music students at CLC.

The Rockley Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting music education.

“In a time where creative solutions are needed to maintain a properly equipped music program, the continuation of this initiative is important to us in our efforts to further education in the arts,” said Dr. Sheldon Walcher, dean of CLC’s Communication Arts, Humanities and Fine Arts Division. “We invite you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.”

At the event, a large selection of grand pianos, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos, hybrid pianos, digital pianos, violins, violas and cellos will be available. This event will feature starter to professional level instruments from such famous makers as Steinway & Sons, Yamaha, Seiler, Pramberger, Roland, Italia Fine Violins and many others. Most instruments are less than one-year old, include a new factory warranty, are tuned and ready to go. Delivery and special no-interest financing is available on site.

In most cases, a substantial portion of your purchase is considered as a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be tax deductible.
