We help you maximize your musical abilities with one-on-one applied music lessons at CLC. Our music teachers are also professional performers who are passionate about helping you master your craft.

Your instructors know you by name—not number. At CLC, the instructors are teachers first, and researchers second. They dedicate their careers to helping you learn and understand music.

You learn from the same material studied at 4-year schools, while you receive the personal attention and feedback possible only in small class sizes.

Take your talent to the stage at the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts. The Center features three modern performance spaces equipped to showcase professional touring events and concerts, as well as our student music, dance and theatre performances and productions.

When you’re a music major, performing in front of people is just another day at the office. At CLC, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to showcase your talents. When you participate in ensembles, you learn by observing, working with and emulating group artists. We offer various for-credit choral and instrumental group options, depending on your focus.
