CLC Theatre presents “The 39 Steps”

Step into a world of mystery, spies and nonstop suspense! The College of Lake County (CLC) Theatre Department presents its fall production of The 39 Steps at the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts, running Nov. 7–15. Don’t miss this thrilling theatrical adventure.
Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps, a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre! This two-time Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning treat is packed with nonstop laughs, over 150 zany characters (played by a ridiculously talented cast of four), an onstage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers and some good old-fashioned romance!
"The 39 Steps was a hit on Broadway and in London and we are so excited to bring this award-winning comedy to CLC,” said Craig Rich, CLC theatre department chair. “It's a wonderful opportunity for our students. It's so fun and theatrical; audiences are going to love it."

Tickets are $11 for the general public and $9 for CLC students, children, teenagers and seniors. Tickets are buy one, get one free Nov. 7 and Nov. 13.
