CLC Trustee nominating petitions available for April 2027 election

Nominating petitions for three positions on the College of Lake County (CLC) Board of Trustees are now available. Candidates for the positions will be placed on the ballot for the April 25, 2027, Consolidated Election. The term of the office for each position is six years. The college is governed by a seven-member board of trustees, elected from among the citizens of Community College District No. 532, to ensure local accountability.
Beginning Aug. 25, election petition packets are available in the CLC Business Services and Finance office, Building E, Room E186, at CLC's Grayslake Campus, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake and online. Please contact the Illinois State Board of Elections for further information on petition materials.
The election filing period is Nov. 23 through Dec. 2. Election nominating papers will be accepted in person in the Business Services and Finance Department from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning Monday, Nov. 16 through Monday, Nov. 23.
Trustee nominating papers may be viewed at the Business Services and Finance Department. Objections to nomination papers of a candidate may be filed from Nov. 24-25 and Nov. 30 to Dec. 2, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
