"This milestone reflects the thoughtful input shared by employees, students, alumni and workforce and community partners throughout the presidential profile development process," said Allena Barbato, CLC Board chair and presidential search committee chair. "The Board extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed their perspectives and helped shape the qualities and priorities sought in CLC's next leader."

Over the coming weeks, the Association of Community College Trustees and search consultant Dr. Keith Miller will conduct a national recruitment effort to attract a strong and diverse pool of qualified candidates whose experience and leadership align with the needs and aspirations of the college communities it serves.

The Board remains committed to a thoughtful, inclusive and transparent search process. Updates will continue to be shared as the search progresses, and the college community will be once again engaged during the finalist interview and forum phase in January 2027.
