An amazing planet in an astounding universe
The Earth and its place in the universe are complex. Weather changes in minutes. Climate changes over decades. Mountains are built over millions of years yet are continually destroyed by natural processes each and every moment. The light that graces our eyes from stars and galaxies in the night sky originated billions of years ago. And it all keeps happening at once—the fast and the slow—interconnected, changing processes.
Get a handle on it all with Earth Science. Study natural systems and how humans understand and adapt to these changes. Make the most of your college years by starting at CLC.
Why study Earth Science with us?
At CLC, you have a dedicated Academic Success Advisor to work with as you plan your transfer to a 4-year institution. Your advisor can suggest schools, decipher degree requirements and make sure you’re on the most efficient path to your goals.
Your instructors know you by name—not by number. At CLC, the instructors are teachers first, and researchers second. They dedicate their careers to helping you learn and understand the significance of Earth to our everyday lives.
You learn the same material studied at 4-year schools, while you receive the personal attention and feedback possible only in small classes.
