Easy steps to apply

Upcoming registration & start dates, payment deadlines

Students can take 3-week intersession classes offered between the end of spring semester and the start of summer term.
- Open registration begins — March 10
- Deadline to pay bill or make payment arrangements — May 19
- Drop for non-payment — May 20
- Summer intersession classes begin — May 20
- End of summer intersession — June 6
A limited number of courses are available during intersession. Future students: your College and Career Navigator (CCN) can help you register for available classes. Current CLC students can check in with their Academic Success Advisor (ASA).
- Registration opens to future students — March 10
- Deadline to pay bill or make payment arrangements — May 26 by 12 p.m.
- Drop for non-payment — May 27
- Summer session begins — June 9
- End of summer session — July 31

Be debt-free at CLC

There are many ways for you to earn a debt-free degree or certificate from CLC.

One in four CLC students were awarded more than $21 million in all other forms of financial aid including scholarships.
You can save $30,000 in tuition and fees on average when you enroll at CLC for two years before transferring to an Illinois public university to complete your bachelor’s degree.
Help is available for everyone — regardless of age, academic standing, or income.

Information for students attending other colleges

Welcome! If you have never attended CLC before, take these simple steps to apply at CLC.
No need to re-submit your student admission form.
If you applied in the last 5 years, your record is still active. You're eligible to enroll in classes. Find classes or browse the course catalog.
If you applied or enrolled more than 5 years ago, your record is inactive. Please contact Student Records at (847) 543-2061 or email admissions@clcillinois.edu to reactivate and/or update your information.
If you attend another college or university during the academic year and you plan to attend CLC as a visiting student, you may enroll in select courses with deferred prerequisites. You may register for any of our visiting student prerequisite deferred courses starting approximately two hours after you receive your CLC ID number.

To enroll in any course not part of the student prerequisite deferred courses, you must follow CLC’s standard process for meeting basic proficiencies, course prerequisites and corequisites. Please contact Student Records at (847) 543-2061 or email admissions@clcillinois.edu.
