You are eligible if you are a resident of Lake County, especially if you live in:
- North Chicago
- Round Lake
- Waukegan
- Zion
With the leadership of the Illinois Legislative Black Caucus, this scholarship is funded by the State of Illinois through the Workforce Equity Initiative (WEI) Grant, administered by the Illinois Community College Board.

- General Welding (Advanced Technology Center)
- Medical Reception/Receptionist (Lakeshore Campus)
- Residential Heating Technician (Lakeshore Campus)
