Grayslake

Elevate your next charity softball game, performance event, corporate seminar or multi-day conference by hosting it on the Grayslake Campus. With a wide variety of buildings and grounds designed for your comfort and use, this sprawling campus is a perfect fit for your next event.

Available spaces

From competitions and intercollegiate sporting events to celebrations and fairs, CLC’s Athletic Center and fields offer a variety of options to fit your event needs. Rental package options include:
- Athletic – ideal for team practices, workouts, tryouts or recreational play
- Banquets – large or small are easily accommodated (Maximum capacity – 600)
- Competition – tournaments/competitions large or small, one-day to multi-day events
- Graduation – ideal venue for your organization’s celebratory ceremony
- Exhibit/Fair – large, flexible open space suited for expos or fairs (Maximum capacity – 160 vendor tables/spaces with 2 chairs per table)
- Fields – options available for a variety of sports including intercollegiate fields for baseball, soccer and softball.
- Multi-purpose fields and lawns as well as parking lots are available for outdoor events (5K races, picnics or family gatherings)
Rental rates vary by event type; larger events require a 3-hour minimum.
Hosting a large, lecture-style corporate event? Need a simple stage setup with presentation capabilities? A011 is the perfect choice.

- $100/hour with a 3-hour minimum
From recitals to plays to seminars, the JLC is a place where the arts come to life. It is fully equipped and ready to rent for your next event, especially one that requires a larger creative space.
- Mainstage Theatre – seats 590 with no obstructed views
- Studio Theatre – seats 250 with no obstructed views
- Experimental Theatre – seats up to 125 with flexible seating

Lakeshore

The Lakeshore Campus located in downtown Waukegan offers residents and businesses in Lake County access to a variety of options to host their corporate, community or private events. Easily accessible via PACE bus, with a stop across the street from the main entrance, or Metra with the train station one block away. The attached parking garage makes parking easy in all weather.

Available spaces

The Eleanor Murkey Community Center (EMCC), located on the top floor of the Student Center, is a flexible space for large and small community engagement events, business meetings and special gatherings. With a balcony overlooking Lake Michigan, the community center is a beautiful space ready to inspire your next event.
Rental package options include:
- Audience Seating/Rows – lecture-style setup with presentation capabilities; 50 chairs included in standard setup. 150 chairs maximum
- Banquet/Events – Ideal for family celebrations or events that need presentation capabilities. Round tables – 10 rounds with 6/table included in the standard package. 16 rounds maximum (128 participants)
- Conference – perfect for corporate training or learning events. Conference-style tables with 2/table. 50 tables maximum (100 participants)
- Meetings – host any type of meeting from a formal board meeting to a networking event. Multiple configurations are available.
- Exhibit/Fair – flexible space suited for vendor fairs or hiring events. 20 tables/2 chairs per table included in the standard package.
- Customizable – EMCC is a unique space that can be customized for any event.
A CLC representative will be happy to help you design the best layout for you. All packages include balcony access, basic A/V, and presentation capabilities. A commercial kitchen is available.
Lakeshore Campus has three conference room options for your meetings. Need a no-frills spot for your small gathering? Perhaps something that can accommodate up to 49 people with presentation capabilities? This campus in Waukegan is the ideal spot for you.
- 34N-405 – this conference room is filled with natural light and is perfect for small, no-frills meetings and seats up to 10.
- 34N-508 – located on the top floor of the Student Center and seats up to 12. Ideal for collaborative meetings with built-in remote capabilities.
- S116 – versatile space with 3 options:
  - Audience seating/rows – lecture-style setup with presentation capabilities seats a maximum of 49
  - Meeting – square shape with presentation capabilities; 20 chairs maximum
  - Classroom – rows of 10 tables with 2 people per table
- Standard and Technology-Enhanced Classrooms (TEC)
  - Instructor workstations

Southlake

Bring your next club meeting, educational seminar, corporate training session or multi-day conference to Southlake’s conference center. This modern, multipurpose center offers you flexible space options, with plenty of room to spread out.

Available spaces

A multi-purpose room with flexible space options with state-of-the-art presentation technology. Four options are available:
- U-Shape – ideal for board meetings that require presentation capabilities
  - 24 participants maximum
  - 8 tables of 3 participants
- Square Shape – large square setup perfect for collaboration and presentation capabilities
  - 36 participants maximum
  - 12 tables of 3 participants
- Pods – square pod setup for smaller discussions and presentation capabilities
  - 48 participants maximum
  - 4 pods of 12 participants
- Conference Style – rows of conference tables and presentation capabilities
  - 72 participants maximum
All setups include an instructor workstation and basic A/V.

Advanced Technology Center

Imagine hosting your educational or corporate event in this state-of-the-art facility that showcases the latest in manufacturing training and education. CLC’s Advanced Technology Center (ATC) is conveniently located in Gurnee with easy access to I-94 and is a stop on a PACE Bus Route 565 on Grand Avenue. There is ample parking and provides space for bus drop-off, pick-up and parking during events.

The large, open atrium area is a flexible space that can accommodate everything from large student-focused robotics competitions to corporate professional development training or community meetings. Rent the entire atrium or select spaces.

East Atrium
The ATC’s east atrium offers flexibility for meetings and luncheons. Filled with natural light, this space offers a variety of configurations that will meet your unique needs. This customizable space can accommodate gatherings of up to 96 participants. Its unique design makes it equally comfortable for board meetings or more intimate gatherings. Available packages include:
- Banquet/Event – the east atrium is ideal for smaller meetings, board meetings and luncheons with presentation capabilities. Two configurations are available:
  - Round tables – 8/table – 5 rounds maximum (40 participants)
  - U-shape/square – seats 20
- Exhibit/Fair – resource/information tables with presentation capabilities. 10 banquet tables/2 chairs per table or 12 conference tables/2 chairs per table
West Atrium
Host your annual shareholders’ meeting, holiday parties, professional development sessions or school career technical education events in the ATC’s spacious west atrium. With multiple seating options available, it can accommodate larger gatherings of up to 246 people. Available packages include:
- Banquet/Event – ideal for large meetings or trainings that need presentation capabilities and tables for attendees. The standard package includes 5 round tables with 8 per table; 20 round tables maximum (160 participants)
- Audience Seating/Rows – lecture-style setup with presentation capabilities. 50 chairs are included in the standard package. 160 chairs maximum.
- Exhibit/Fair – resource/information tables with presentation capabilities. 10 banquet tables/2 chairs per table or 12 conference tables/2 chairs per table
- Standard classroom setup
- Instructor workstation – includes monitor, CPU and projector controls
- Whiteboard
- $50/hour

All CLC facilities are accessible to persons with disabilities. Free parking is available at all four locations; the Lakeshore Campus has an attached parking garage. Catering is available at all locations, from light bites to plated meals, breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks. The CLC events team will help you plan the ideal menu within your budget.

NOTE: In addition to these rental fees, CLC will determine appropriate technical, custodial and/or campus police charges deemed necessary for your event. Please discuss your technology needs with the CLC representative when booking your event. Specific equipment varies by location. Some technology requests may incur additional fees. Additional field maintenance fees may apply to athletics rentals. Non-profit organizations may receive a 20% discount (with appropriate documentation) on rental fees. Personnel and equipment fees are excluded.
