Bike Resources

Ride on!

Ride a bike to class, to run errands or just relax. It’s a great way to feel good, burn calories, save gas money and reduce your carbon footprint.

At CLC, we’ve got your ticket to ride!

Bike share

Don’t have a bike to use? No problem! CLC is a proud member of the first bike share program in Lake County.

Borrow a bike for free (or a minimal fee) at CLC’s Grayslake and Lakeshore campuses. Use it to commute, run errands or enjoy the great outdoors. Explore the Living Lab Trail or Rollins Savanna Forest Preserve. If cycling leaves you sweaty, use your student I.D. to shower at the Fitness Center.

The bike share program is a partnership between College of Lake County, Village of Grayslake, Grayslake Public Library, and Grayslake Park District.

Bike repair

You rode your bike to class. Awesome! Then a tire goes flat, or a pedal loosens. Where’s roadside assistance when you need it? For CLC cyclists, the free Bike Resource Station is located just outside the Athletic and Fitness Center (Building F).

Use the station to make an unexpected repair, for routine maintenance or to tune up before a longer ride.
