Lancer Emergency Assistance Fund

Keep studying despite unexpected bills

Lancer Emergency Assistance Fund (LEAF) is an emergency fund built with care and compassion. The judgment-free services offered through this program are available to all CLC students.

Current CLC students who unexpectedly find themselves unable to pay life’s expenses can reach out for help through the CLC Student Portal and by submitting a LEAF request form. Decisions are made quickly—sometimes the same day or up to 5 business days depending on the urgency of the request.

Helping students in tight spots

Here are a few examples of ways LEAF can help:

  • assistance to fix a flat tire or to buy gas to go to class
  • meal cards to buy groceries to stay healthy and relieve food insecurity
  • payment for the gas bill, to keep your home warm for the winter as you take classes online

If you have questions about LEAF or need help with current or expected tuition costs or other bills owed to the college, explore available financial aid options or contact the Office of Financial Aid.
