Proof of residence status
Community colleges in Illinois classify students by “residency status” for tuition assessment and enrollment tracking. You are considered a resident if you own and/or occupy a dwelling in Community College District #532.
You can verify residency by providing one of the following:
- Illinois driver’s license or ID card issued by Illinois Secretary of State Office
- an Illinois voter ID card
OR by displaying two of the following, which must display your name and current address:
- auto registration
- lease
- mortgage or home purchase contract
- official mail of current bill statements such as cell phone, utility, credit card, auto insurance
- paycheck stub
- tax bill
- high school transcript
