Charging forward with $500K electric vehicle grant
CLC received the Rev Up EV Community College Initiative grant to support education of electric vehicles. The grant is worth more than $500,000. -

The FAFSA process has been simplified, allowing college students to fill it out and receive aid with far less stress on their end. -
Upskilling student awarded national scholarship
Chad Holt works as a full-time employee, but wanted to upskill. He was recently awarded a $1,500 national scholarship. -
Dr. Sylvia Johnson Jones honored for community service
Dr. Sylvia Johnson Jones, executive director of the College of Lake County (CLC) Career and Job Placement Center (CJPC), received the Drum Major Award for Community Service at the Waukegan Township annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Event for her work in the community. -
“Prairie Voices” awarded high honor
"Prairie Voices" won the REALM First Class Award from the NCTE for the second year in a row. It's the highest honor that can be achieved. -
