Once you are accepted into the program, the Professional Practice Experience (clinical) courses (HIT212 and HIT213) and the Seminar course (HIT218) are only offered during the day in the final two semesters in the program.
This program prepares you to take the Illinois professional licensure exam. When you pass the exam, you can work in health information technology in the state of Illinois.
