Economics
Supplying the career you demand
The earliest humans likely traded pelts and berries. Travelers heading west across the early plains bartered for wagon wheels and food. Across the centuries, we have produced, exchanged and consumed goods and services, whether or not we called that an economy.
We will continue to be economic beings and societies long into the future. When you analyze our world through this lens, you gain a certain set of skills. These practical, technical skills transfer into a variety of roles. Now, if you could do something about gas prices, that would be a bonus.
Why study Economics with us?
Work with our Academic Success Advisors to plan your transfer to a 4-year institution. We can recommend schools that fit your future goals.
Your instructors know you by name—not by number. At CLC, the instructors are teachers first, researchers second. They dedicate their careers to helping you learn and understand the relationship of economics to the development of countries.
You learn the same material studied at 4-year schools, while you receive the personal attention and feedback possible only in small class sizes.
Look into the value of economics to our society—with some fun facts at the end.
