The Associate in Arts degree in gender and sexuality studies prepares you for transfer to a 4-year university where you continue your studies in related fields. With the growing demand for these courses, CLC is now one of the few community colleges to offer a gender and sexuality studies program.
Gain a broad foundation by:
- examining the psychological, sociological, anthropological, educational, economic, historical and political approaches to gender and gender issues
- analyzing contemporary gender issues and inequalities
- exploring how gender intersects with other social factors, such as social class, race and ethnicity
