CAD-Drafting Technology

Turn ideas into reality

Computer aided design turns drawings into buildable plans. Starting with your imagination (or an engineer’s drawing), you can make a precise, usable digital rendering.

That’s powerful. Between idea and object, there’s CAD. The object might be a mobile phone stand, a splash pad for the community or an orbital satellite.

Why study CAD-Drafting Technology with us?

Find options that match your goals and interests at CLC. Earn a certificate in AutoCAD or SolidWorks, if you know which system you’ll be using. Specialize in civil drafting or architectural, depending on whether you want to be part of the land surveying process or the new building that will be developed on the freshly surveyed land.

For the full range of career options, earn your Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree.

Your instructors know you by name—not by number. At CLC, the instructors are teachers first, researchers second. They dedicate their careers to helping you learn and understand the interrelationship between the disciplines of design and engineering.

You learn the same material studied at 4-year schools, while you receive the personal attention and feedback possible only in small class sizes.
