You'll earn credentials that stack towards the Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Welding & Fabrication Technology. For this certificate, you develop fundamental skills in a range of welding and metalworking techniques:

  • gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
  • shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
  • gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW)
  • oxy-fuel welding
  • thermal-cutting, industry math and blueprint reading
  • fabrication skills including metal forming, cutting, assembly and processing
  • metallurgy fundamentals
