Housing and Other Resources

Help when you need it

Life outside the classroom can have a huge impact on your success in school. At times, you many need a little help.

Housing assistance

Reach out if you are a CLC student experiencing homelessness or are at risk of being homeless. This includes if you are

  • sharing the housing of others due to loss of housing or economic hardship
  • living in motels, hotels or camping grounds due to lack of alternative adequate accommodations
  • living in emergency or transitional shelters
  • living in cars, parks, abandoned buildings, substandard housing, bus or train stations, or similar settings

The Community Resource Coordinator can help you complete the Unaccompanied Homeless Youth form as part of your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Contact Financial Aid with other FAFSA questions.

Other needs

Contact us if you need help applying for public benefits, including Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or other programs. A complete list of services provided by the Community Resource Coordinator are found in the Student Portal.

Contact our Community Resource Coordinator

CLC students can make an appointment or stop by the office, which shares space with Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).
