The ability to move efficiently is critical to quality of life. This program will deepen your understanding of how the body works from the perspective of human movement. Learn to use exercise as a form of medicine. You build and implement exercise programs, help prevent and treat athletic injuries, teach others about the body’s incredible potential and so much more.
This 60-credit, two-year program is an affordable way to build a strong foundation toward a 4-year degree. The kinesiology program with an exercise science focus at CLC is aligned with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA).
What can you do with a Kinesiology A.S. - Exercise Science Focus?
This Associate in Science (A.S.) degree prepares you to transfer and complete a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology, movement science or related fields, which prepares you for these careers. This then prepares you for graduate programs such as exercise physiology, physical therapy and athletic training, to name a few.
