Apply lab skills to the real world
Prepares students to work as surgical technologists
It takes empathy, compassion and an acute attention to detail to provide superior patient care. You can make it happen with an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Surgical Technology. Position yourself for advancement with coursework, real-world training and a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) national certification.
In this accredited program, you will learn from experienced instructors through hands-on labs and lectures in small class sizes.
What can you do with an A.A.S. in Surgical Technology?
The A.A.S. degree in surgical technology prepares you to start a career as an entry-level surgical technologist or continue your education in a related field such as biology or as a certified surgical first assistant.
Graduates of the program are qualified to take the Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Examination given by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
