What Can You Do With an A.A.S. in Industrial Technology?

An Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) prepares you for a career in industrial technology. You can start in maintenance, assembling or production, then move up to high-tech jobs in building automation, PLCs (programmable logic controllers) and specialty fabrication. With further education and experience, you can move into management positions.

Certain classes have industry credentials embedded within them. You will qualify to take SACA certifications provided by the Smart Automation Certification Alliance (SACA). This makes your credentials attractive to employers and can help you get a job sooner.

WFT 170	WFT 170 General Welding Class Description This course (formerly WLD 170) is designed to introduce students to common welding processes and the industry. A general and basic knowledge of industry safety, operation and the fundamentals of common arc and gas welding processes are studied and practiced.
