Am I ready for college?

You're more ready than you think

Everyone worries if they’re ready for college. It’s a big commitment and you want to succeed.

The good news: CLC supports you every step of the way. No matter where you are in life or how much or recent your schooling, we’ve got you!

Academic support

Maybe you need to brush up on your math skills. You need a laptop for class. Or you’re the first in your family to attend college and need extra guidance.

CLC has free and low-cost academic resources to help you succeed. These include tutoring, technology, textbooks and much more.

If you are returning to school after time away, we’ll help you figure out where to start. You even might get credit for prior learning and work skills.

Also, class sizes at CLC are small with about 15 students. This means you get personal attention and feedback from instructors who care.

Need help with childcare during class? Want to talk to a mental health counselor? Perhaps you crave the comfort of being around people with shared experience.

Know this: Your health and well-being are top priorities at CLC. Many free and low-cost wellness resources are available to you. These include dental hygiene, personal fitness, basic living essentials and peer support groups.
