    The Grayslake campus has spaces galore to pursue visual and performing arts. Studios for art, dance, voice recording, ceramics, jewelry making, music, theatre, photography and more will nurture your creativity.

    Advanced science and healthcare labs

    A new science wing supports modern laboratories for biology, chemistry and other sciences. The campus also houses simulation labs for the nursing and medical imaging programs. These labs help you develop hands-on skills with guidance from expert faculty.

    Baxter Innovation Lab

    Learn hands on in this design and fabrication workshop, using everything from shop tools to 3D printers. Here, students in many programs work on class projects. Or just hang out! The lab is central to community STEM events. These include Maker Faire Lake County, Make-a-Thon, Lake County Robotics Competition and summer camps.

    James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts

    The JLC is a premier, multi-stage performing arts venue. If you're a student of dance, music or theatre, you'll perform here or work backstage. You also can see performances by world-renown artists.

Building hours

  • Monday–Friday: 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday–Sunday: 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Office hours may vary. Please consult the department directory.

Testing Center hours

Testing hours at Grayslake Campus are Monday-Thursday from 8:15 a.m. to 6:30 p.m, and Saturdays from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Visit the Testing Center for more details.

Where to park at Grayslake Campus

  • Student and Visitor - Lots 2, 3, 4, 8, 9 and 13 (baseball field)
  • Visitor - Visitor parking also available by A wing and on Sunpivot Circle
  • Staff - Lots 1, 5, 6, 7 and 12

We have designated parking areas on campus for use by students, faculty, staff and visitors. CLC parking lots are idle-free zones. Please abide by the parking rules and regulations established by the College of Lake County Police Department.
